Sounds excellent - many thanks for letting me know the details. I find
Family Search a superb resource so it's fantastic to hear your work is
integrated.

Sorry for the jargon - OPR = Old Parish Registers

Hello Andrew

I am not sure what an "OPR" is!

We started off with a deal with the LDS. They supplied us with their films
on disc. In return, we supplied them with our transcripts. You can see
them on Familysearch. Nowadays, the images can usually be downloaded from
Familysearch. However, there are parish registers that the LDS didn't
film, so if possible, we photograph them ourselves. We also photograph
BTs, because even where the LDS have filmed them, modern cameras might do
better. By the way, I photograph prison registers and so on with my iPad.
An excellent machine - all family historians should have one!

To return to your question; we should end up with the same coverage as the
LDS and better than the IGI. I don't know about Ancestry, but its worth
remembering that our transcripts are done by Cornish FH volunteers. Not
Brazilians.

Rgds

Michael
