Dear Supporter

Please demand democratic debate of disconnection

Yesterday - in just one day - 6,000 UK citizens emailed their MPs to demand a democratic debate and scrutiny of new proposals for disconnection as a punishment for copyright infringement and ill-thought out measures for web blocking that could lead to backdoor web censorship.

These proposals are about to be rammed through Parliament in the so-called "Digital Economy Bill" - which also threatens to outlaw open wifi networks.

Join us - and ask your MP to demand democratic debate

We need you to write as well: and if you've already written, to let all your friends know.

We need thousands of people to oppose this legislation being railroaded through Parliament without scrutiny.

Together, we can demand debate and get these proposals stopped.

Thank you,
