Please write again to demand debate

Labour, Tories and Lib Dems are now pledged to ram the Digital economy Bill through, without scrutiny. This is undemocratic. The legislation contains controversial and ill-thought out proposals to disconnect households and organisations from the internet after allegations of copyright infringement. This should not be rammed through without scrutiny.

Meanwhile, back bench MPs are getting worried. They know this is wrong. And now we know this will all happen on the day an election will be called, and passed in 45 minutes the day after.

38 Degrees have a new letter, now we know the BIll is timetabled to be pushed through: please write again, now, to keep the pressure up. Back bench MPs are getting worried, and we are getting positive responses.
